The color palette
Quantum XDS allows selection of one of seven color schemes, displaying a capturing lens an image as monochrome (habitual modes “white hot” and “hot black”) and color, highlighting the most hot and cold sections separate colors.
In Quantum XDS is implemented stadiametric rangefinder, which is a dynamic distance scale, which allows with sufficient degree of accuracy to determine the distance to observed objects with height (known) 1.7 m (deer), 0.7 meters (boar) and 0.3 meters (hare).
Modes of observation
In Quantum XDS can select a monitoring mode that provides optimal results for specific conditions. The program of the thermal imager provides three modes – “City” (enhanced contrast), “Forest” (low contrast) and “Identification” (improved detail warm objects).
If necessary, to temporarily stop monitoring the user can use the display off function. This provides a level of masking (no glow from the eyepiece) in the interval between sessions of observation and quick resumption of monitoring (after the display turns off all other systems of the device are in working condition; to complete the work enough again to turn the display on).
Possibility of use in frosty conditions
The Quantum effective when operating in low temperatures (-25°C) due to the application in the design of frost-resistant OLED display (the image remains the same as when observed in conditions of positive temperature of the surrounding atmosphere)
Adjust the brightness and contrast
The control wheel located next to the lens allows the user to setup brightness and contrast most appropriate for specific situation
Significantly increase the time of operation allows the use of external power sources to which the Quantum is connected with a specially designed connector. In winter conditions the power supply can be placed under clothing.
Body of carbon fiber is really solid. A secure hold of the instrument provides a partial brasilianum corps.
The Quantum is provided by 4 batteries (battery) AA. The batteries are stored in a special container which is then placed in the battery compartment of the device.
All Quantum models are equipped with an analog video output for connecting external recording equipment or transmitting image to the display.
