Hunting for wood grouses

Wood grouse is a large forest bird, one of the oldest hunting birds of our fauna. In the territory of the CIS, there are two species of wood grouse: common and stone. These species differ in size and coloring of the plumage.

The main habitats of wood grouse are old pine and pine-spruce forests, especially wetlands, bordered by dry manes with pine forests. The stone capercaillie mostly lives in the plains and mountain deciduous forests, but also lives in pine and cedar forests.
Hunting for a current.

The most exciting hunting for wood grouses is spring, for males on currents.
