Canned Salmon Soup Recipe

Cooking the first dishes from any housewife takes away precious time that can be spent on other useful things. You can save a little by choosing some simple but tasty canned soups.

Salmon is a very tasty and healthy fish. However, in most cities of Russia, prices for seafood are too high, so not everyone can afford them. You can choose blanks in jars , preparing different stews from them.

Canned salmon soup is much cheaper, while it has a rich taste. In addition, the first dish is quickly prepared, because it is not necessary to gut the fish and cook it for a long time.

A simple and affordable salmon soup recipe

Everyone who has tried a stew of fresh salmon will never be able to forget the unique taste and aroma. Cooking fish soup for a large family is expensive, so the hostesses have to trick. Salmon soup will be a great, and most importantly, quick lunch option.

What you need from the ingredients:

  • canned salmon – 1 can (250 g);
  • water – 1-15 l;
  • potatoes – 3 pcs.;
  • onions – 1 pc.;
  • carrots – ½ pcs.;
  • sunflower oil – for frying;
  • greens – several branches for serving;
  • chicken eggs (to decorate the dish) – 2 pcs.;
  • salt, peppercorns, 2-3 bay leaves.

Fish do not need to be gutted and cut, because it is already ready for use. It is only necessary to drain the liquid from it, remove large bones and disassemble into large pieces. It is recommended to start with frying, for which you need to take onions and carrots. Peel the vegetables, chop the onion into cubes, grate the carrots on a medium grater and send everything to a pan with hot vegetable oil. Fry for 5-7 minutes until the onion is brown and soft.

Put boiling water, but for now do peeling and cutting potatoes. Transfer it to boiling water, a little salt. Cook for about 12-15 minutes, so that the potatoes are soft, but have not yet been fully boiled. Add a frying of vegetables, bay leaves and spices, bring to a boil. At the end, send the fish to the pan, boil the fish soup from canned food for no more than 2-3 minutes.

To serve, cook hard boiled eggs, cut into halves or quarters. Add 2-3 slices of eggs to each plate and sprinkle with fresh herbs.

Tasty chowder with rice, salmon and tomatoes

The second recipe requires a little more time for cooking, but the liquid dish is even tastier. Salmon goes well with tomatoes and rice, making the chowder more satisfying.

Grocery list:

  • canned fish – 1 can;
  • potatoes – 3-4 pcs.;
  • long rice – 1 handful;
  • onions – 1 pc.;
  • carrots – 1 pc.;
  • tomato – 1-2 pcs.;
  • tomato paste – 3 tbsp. l .;
  • sunflower oil – 50 ml;
  • salt, ground pepper, laurel leaves.

Immediately pour water into the pan and put to boil, as the preparation of the products does not take much time. Peel the potatoes, cut into thin slices and send to a pot with boiling water. Peel onions, chop into cubes, peeled carrots can be grated. Heat oil in a pan, send onions and carrots to it – fry for 4-5 minutes, then add tomato paste and simmer until soft.

Transfer the stewed vegetables to a pot of potatoes, do not forget to salt and toss the bay leaves. Rinse thoroughly and add to the broth, stir to prevent the cereal from sticking. Cook everything together for 7 minutes, then shift the canned fish out of the can . It is preliminary recommended to drain the oil and remove large bones, boil for 5 minutes. It is advisable to fill in fresh greens and let the soup stand for at least 10 minutes to make it more flavorful.
