The inertial system is simple and reliable.
Its operation is provided by only 3 elements – the shutter frame, inertial spring and the shutter itself.
No powder gases, gas pistons and sludge! Locking the barrel is carried out by means of combat stops on the larva of the shutter, which during the shot fix the larva. After a shot with the force of recoil, the rifle throws back by inertia, along with it throws and the bolt locked tightly behind the trunk. And while the shutter frame, due to its inertia, strives to stay in place, the bolt moves backward relative to the shutter frame with compression of the inertial spring.
The larva rotates and the trunk is unlocked. Further, the residual pressure of the powder gases in the barrel casts the bolt together with the slide frame backward, compressing the return spring. In this case, the shot cartridge case is ejected, and on the return stroke of the bolt group – feeding of the new cartridge into the chamber. Expanding, the spring pushes the bolt forward and locks the barrel.
The inertial recharge system is much purer than the gas outlet. It is only necessary to clean the barrel bore and, if necessary, the bolt group. This at times saves you time.
