Fishing rules for the West Siberian fishery basin

The West Siberian fishery basin is subdivided into the Ob-Irtysh and the Yenisei fisheries management areas, with the exception of ponds and flooded quarries, owned by the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, municipal and private property.

2.1. Ob-Irtysh river fishery area includes the Kara sea (with the exception of the Yenisei, Pekinskogo, toll and Taimyr bays) with the Ob, Taz, Gyda, baydaratsky and Yuracko lips from flowing into these rivers; the rivers Ob, Irtysh, PUR, Taz, with their tributaries, oxbow lakes, litters, and reservoirs and water bodies of commercial fishing importance in the territories of Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk, Kurgan, Tyumen regions, Khanty-Mansi – Yugra and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous districts, Omsk, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo regions, Altai territory and Republic of Altai.

Ob, Tazovskaya, Gydansky, Baidaratskaya and Juracka lips, and rivers of Ob, Irtysh, PUR, Taz, pike, Messo-Yakha, North Sosva, Lyapin, Sob and the Synya, the Voikar, Konda, Chulym, Tom, Chumysh, Biya, Katun, Tobol, Tavda, Tura, with their tributaries belong to the migratory routes to spawning sites and spawning salmon, whitefish and sturgeon.

2.2. Yenisei fisheries district includes: the Kara sea from flowing into rivers; bays of the Kara sea (Yenisey, Pasinski, toll and Taimyr) with its tributary rivers; the Laptev sea from flowing into rivers; bays of the Laptev sea (Khatanga, Thaddeus Simms, Theresa Klavenes) with flowing rivers; of the river Yenisei, Pyasina, Taymyr, Khatanga, Vilyui river (Lena river basin), Ob (Chulym and ket), with its tributaries, bays, sleeves, ducts, reservoirs, lakes, and other waters of water objects of commercial fishing importance, located in the territories of the Republic of Tyva, Republic of Khakassia and the Krasnoyarsk territory.

Rules relating to Amateur and sport fishing should highlight the following points:

10. For the implementation of Amateur and sports fishery:

10.1. citizens have the right to carry out Amateur and sports fishery on water objects of commercial fishing importance for General use freely, in accordance with fishery Rules;

10.2. Amateur and sports fishery on the fishery sites given on the basis of contracts on the provision of fishing area for the organization of specified kinds of fishing, with citizens is carried out in the presence of the permit (the document confirming the conclusion of the contract of compensated rendering of services in the field of Amateur and sports fishery), issued by a legal entity or individual entrepreneur. The permit must be specified the amount of water biological resources, agreed for the extraction (catch), area of extraction (catch) within the fishing grounds, the tools of extraction (catch) the expiration date;

11. Citizens in the implementation of Amateur and sports fishery on the provided for these purposes, the fishing grounds needs to have:

the permit;

a passport or other identity document.

35. Kinds of forbidden tools and ways of extraction (catch) of water biological resources:

35.1. Prohibits the extraction (catch) of water biological resources any tools for extraction (catch), except:

35.1.1. on water objects of fishery use areas, as well as outside the fishing grounds, provided for the organisation of Amateur and sports fishery:

summer and winter fishing tackles of all modifications with the total number of hooks (single, doubles or tees next, hooks), including hooks on lures no more than 10 pieces on tools of extraction (catch) of one citizen;

spinning, feeder, “ships”, “snakes”, nahlystovymi rods with use blesen, wobblers, front sights and other baits;

the Gerlich and circles total number of not more than 10 pieces at one citizen;

zakidnogo rods (“zakidushek”), including with use of rubber shock absorbers, and seines with a total of hooks no more than 10 pieces on tools of extraction (catch) of one citizen;

on the track (trolling);

with special traps in an amount of not more than 5 pieces at one citizen, with the diameter of each rakolovki no more than 80 cm

chicken wire nonsense (for the extraction (catch) live bait) no longer than 3 m with the size (step) of the mesh not more than 15 mm;

36.6.3. Forbidden for extraction (catch) of water bioresources:

the Siberian sturgeon – everywhere;

sterlet, taimen, nelma, muksun, broad whitefish, Peled (syrok), whitefish (whitefish Siberian whitefish) are outside the fishing grounds, provided for the organization of recreational and sport fishing

36.7.2. Forbidden terms (periods) of extraction (catch) of water biological resources:

Prohibits the extraction (catch):

all kinds of water bioresources, except for extraction (catch) of water biological resources of one of the bottom or poplavochnoj a fishing tackle and a spinning from coast with total number of hooks not more than 2 pieces on tools of extraction (catch) of one citizen and Gerlich total number of not more than 5 pieces at one citizen in the following terms:

from April 20 to may 20 – in all rivers with their inflows and inundated systems;

from April 25th to may 25th – in all lakes.

Commercial size water bioresources is defined by fresh:

the fish – by length measurement from the top of the snout (with closed mouth) to the base of the middle caudal fin rays;

cancer – by measuring the body from the line connecting middle of eye to end of caudal plates.

The extracted (caught) water bioresources having length less specified, are subject to immediate release in a natural habitat with the least damages.
