The mount is simple and does not require any additional devices, but it works better on a wooden boat. In addition, it is necessary to carefully remove the bait when biting, so that others do not fall into the water.
The third way is to use special mounts. They can be purchased or self-made, have a different design (you can’t list them all!). The disadvantage of such anchorage is that it is usually quite large; it takes up space in the boat. Nevertheless, this is the most reliable way to secure the side fishing rod, and if it is heavy and can drown – the most acceptable for the angler.
Ways to catch
There are several ways to catch on-board fishing poles:
